- Plug in the heater into an electrical outlet and turn on the heater by using the remote control (included in the package) or by using the manual control buttons located on the base of the unit.
- The oscillation function can be activated by the remote control or by pressing down on the button located behind the heater. To stop oscillation, simply press the “SWING” button on the remote control once again.
- press the “TIMER” button to initiate an automatic shutoff after 30 min. Additional time can be added by pressing the “TIMER” button again for one hour, another time for 2 hours, and once more for 4 hours. The timer indicator lights, located on the base, will indicate how much time has been selected. To cancel the timer function, press the “TIMER” button until all the timer indicator lights are off.
- The heater has a safety feature that cuts off the electricity to the heater when it has fallen over or is tilted at an angle. To resume operation, place the heater right side up on a flat, level surface.
